STEMfestNL has ended

The Technology Education Special Interest Council (TESIC) and the Math-Science Special Interest Council (MSSIC), in partnership with Marine Institute & Memorial University, are excited to announce the 3rd annual Summer Institute of Technology Integration (SITI), STEMfestNL. 

Registration is now open.

We are pleased to offer nearly 60 sessions over the four-day institute, featuring 40 facilitators from across Canada. Before choosing your sessions, please create an account and add a profile picture and bio.

Registration Fee:

Registration fee includes full access to all sessions, facility tours and daily nutrition breaks. 

Newfoundland and Labrador attendees: $100

Out-of-Province attendees: $150

Method of Payment:

Limited Capacity seats available

Educators will be provided with an overview of the various resources that can be used in and out of the classroom to fulfill the curriculum objectives related to space sciences which are a part of the grade 6 and 9 science programs. The programs and materials provided can also be used to advance STEM objectives in all grades as well as science clubs. Training will include software compatible with all platforms as well as telescopes and various web sites where students can participate in cutting edge research.
